So I got the call last week that I failed my 1 hour pregnancy glucose test. This test is to determine if I have gestational Diabetes. I'm so bum'd about the test results as Diabetes runs in my family- it scares me :(
Today I went and took the 3 hour follow up test for the glucose... It was the longest 3 hours ever! Had to drink a sugary drink in the first hour that made me dizzy and made my vision very blurry. I had to fast before the test so I'm sure that made the test even more yucky! My little girl was sure jumping around in my tummy- all that sugar from the drink.
I'm just glad that test is over now I wait to see the results- STAY TUNED!
