Who Knew! Mommy can make BOWS

I sat down to make a few bows today for Georgia and ended up making 30! It's been a long time since I sat down and created a fun art project.

Even Georgia was shocked!

The 3am clock

I'm starting to catch on with a pattern here. Every night my Georgia wakes up at 3am sharp and is back asleep by 3:15-3:20.

It has nothing to do with when I put her to bed..her normal bed time is 9pm and tonight it was 11pm. She also has nothing against time zone changes-still wakes up at 3am. We live PST and are in MST now- both places 3am

This is the second night I have actually stayed up past her 3am mark... I start to hear her rustle in bed about 2:50 and then DING DING 3am and she is crying for a feeding.

I find it very strange... How does she know it's 3am?

Apple Doesn't Fall Far...

We named Georgia Jewel after my father's mother Jewel Armstrong.

So admit it... we all have our addictions.
I'm addicted to MAC make-up, Fashion Magazines, iTunes and pedicures.

I realized today that my Georgia was addicted to her bottle...not any bottle but one funny bottle in particular. She cuddles the long tube caressing it as she sucks. It's so cute but oh so weird at the same time!

Double Take....

I think Georgia looks like a Kewpie doll and while cleaning her room I noticed one of my old dolls and thought... hummmm those clothes would fit her.101_3459

Beware- Don't try this at home...

Beware- Don't Try This At Home...

We can't leave Georgia in her bouncer, swing, or car seat without fully strapping her  in....not even for 1 second! She automatically stands up or sits up. We can't even leave her on the couch or bed- she will roll over-YIKES!!

I caught this picture of her standing up while trying to capture baby photos.

Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend! Baby Bling!

Today she got the first of many to come- earrings. Next time Daddy can buy her the real thing... Every girl loves a little bling

Baby Blue Eyes- GENES?

Genetics is a weird thing and very confusing. Everyone always asks how we got a red head- Dylan has beautiful red hair. Both Richard and I have red heads further back in the family tree so I guess that is where Dylan got his Golden locks. It appears that Georgia may have inherited the Red hair too , only time will tell.

Will she keep her Blue eyes?

It's Hot out Here! So Cal Temps a Rising!

Georgia cooling off in her PINK bathing suit- what a bathing beauty.

Gifts That Give Back-

I thought how appropriate this chic outfit from was for our BreastCancer walk. We got so many compliments on this beautiful outfit and we felt so good that with the purchase of the outfit we are giving back and saving the enviornment. :)

Heir Goes Green for Baby Long Sleeve Set $50.00
This set is too cute. So soft 100% cotton long sleeve top has the female symbol in flowered fabric on the front and along the cuffs. The bottoms, in the same soft cotton, have the same fabric simply at the bottom edge. All the recycled scraps from Heir's various collections may be discovered in this line. The set is white, saving the environment from dye run off. As if that weren't enough, a portion of the proceeds go to the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF) - an international, non-profit organization whose mission is to raise money for the development and empowerment of the people and communities in Africa where diamonds are a natural resource. Stylish and socially aware - all in one fabulous set.

Breast Cancer Walk- Y-ME.ORG

We completed a walk for a friend through an organization called (Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization has officially changed its name to Breast Cancer Network of Strength to better communicate its mission. Breast Cancer Network of Strength is strong, positive and trustworthy name and highlights peer support services available for anyone touched by breast cancer)
It was such a touching and wonderful event. We completed the walk with Dylan and Georgia and it was a great way to spend mothers day. We had an amazing day with family and friends. Here are some photos from the event

Moby Wrap- Heaven Sent!

OK- I just love the Moby Wrap! It's amazing what you can do with your hands free- baby wearing! I use it around the house and then out and about. We did a Breast Cancer walk and Georgia was happy to ride along in her moby wrap. I highly recommend this carrier as it's so comfortable and convenient. check them out at
