Funny baby girl!

I was so worried all night about my girl. She moves constantly and wouldn't move... I was poking and prodding her. I luckily had a DRS appt today- I'm high risk so I get them every two weeks which is very reassuring. So at the doctors appt she started moving like crazy- go figure! Then I found out she in now breech after being head down for 6 weeks. Go figure maybe that's why it took so long to feel her move. She decided to change positions to be more comfortable-lol :)

As a second time mom to be , I know that I want an item that will last longer than a few months. With my son Dylan his baby bibs would either be destroyed from eatting or He'd grow out of them. Amazing- this little girl dances!

I have been feeling our little girl move since I was about 16 weeks pregnant. She is ALWAYS moving! She loves to bounce around- you can see my entire tummy move. It's amazing that I can see my little girl roll into one side of my tummy already! When I was pregnant with Dylan he would move in the afternoon and before I went to bed- pretty much at the same times every day.
She is a busy little girl! Maybe she will be a professional dancer-lol

Another Red Head??

I know we all wonder what our kids will look like when they are born. When we had my 1st son we decided that we would name him Dylan if he came out a brunette and Logan if he came out a blonde. Well... I think I jinxed my self he came out BALD and was that way for the 1st year and 1/2. Then it came in Curly RED!  My husband is a toe head blonde and I'm "naturally" :) dirty blonde Now I'm wondering what will this baby look like....maybe another RED HEAD? It's a GIRL!

We really wanted to announce the Baby's sex to our parents in a special way. My family all lives in Utah and I'm in California . I don't get to see them that often so I wanted to surprise them. I just can't wait any longer!!! Boy or Girl.....

Pink or Blue?

I can't wait until my next doctors apt to find out so we decided to go to a great 3D/4D ultrasound elective place.
I thought that I could possibly wait to find out but the thought of having to wait a couple of more weeks was driving me nuts.

With my first pregnancy I went to a similar place to find out his sex at 16 weeks pregnant. I had a beautiful experience as it was very nice to have someone that was so energetic and excited about finding out the sex of our baby.

So we went to an elective ultrasound place called www.babys1photos.com which is located in Riverside California. It was a wonderful experience at relaxing and beautifully decorated salon. I loved that this place catered to having the elective ultrasounds as well as photography of your pregnancy belly or after you deliver your newborn baby. What a great idea!

So I met with the VERY sweet Danielle who was our ultrasound tech. She escorted us into this large room with a huge 20" viewing screen for family members. It was so nice to see the baby on the BIG screen-just like the movies :) My three year old son picked up on the excitement and was running around the room in excitement and joy! Danielle had me lay down and started the ultrasound- she quickly explained that she saw "it" meaning the sex of the baby. She then stated that she wanted a better picture to give us a good look at the gender when she told us the sex. I immediately thought- I bet it's a boy cause she found "it". She then got the baby to move a bit which had me tense in anticipation of what this baby was going to be- BOY or GIRL. She then wrote Congratulations you are having a GIRL. I was shocked, I thought for sure she was going to say it was a boy. I felt like I won the lottery- Yippee!!! I am so excited to be able to welcome a little girl into our family.

4 Grandbabies in a row!

My family loves to do things in sequence. Two years ago, my parents had three children get married within the same summer. Wow- That was a busy summer! Now two years later they have 4 grand children to arrive within a 6 month time frame! I am the oldest of six children- 5 girls and 1 boy! We are all married now except for the youngest and she's only 16 so they don't have to worry about her for awhile :) I have a sister due in late December or january ( having a GIRL) , My sister in law due in late January ( having a GIRL), I'm due in March and I just found out today my sister is having a baby in June.
This will be a household of grandchildren!!!

Chinese Calendar- correct??? old wives tale?

My best friend swears by this chinese calendar baby sex predictor. It says that if I got pregnant in July that I would have a girl. I don't really believe in those but I found out last night that I'm having a girl. My friend exclaimed- " see I told you it works"Anyone try the chinese sex predictor? Did it work?

What is Green and White?

ME!

I don't think I'm ever going to get over this all day sickness I feel. I woke up this morning about 4am and could not stop throwing all all morning. My poor son woke up and laid down by the bathroom door and cried that I was scaring him. He is so worried about me-I feel so bad for him. He is always telling everyone that his mommy is sick and her tummy hurts.
I tried everything to calm my tummy down and nothing worked. I wasn't like this with Dylan although I did feel sick and nauseated if I didn't eat at specific times through out the day but I think I only threw up like 3 times my entire pregnancy. This pregnancy on the other hand is so different. I rarely can eat very much at one time and going out to eat- forget about it!Hopefully this will subside soon :)

This Baby Will Keep Us Guessing ?!?!

So today my best friend Sarah took me to my Doctors visit since my husband Richard is off working in Utah with my family. I am not really supposed to drive very far because of my pain and cramping-uggg! It was a good thing since after the hour long drive to the hospital I was having horrible cramps. My blood pressure by the time the doctor saw me was 145/110-kinda scary! They had me lie down on my side and thank goodness it went down otherwise I would have ended my self up with a one way ticket to resting in the hospital.
I was hoping to find out the sex of the baby but I guess we will just have to wait till this baby is ready to show us.The baby was curled up and feet down and definately not going to show it's sex to us yet. Everyone is thinking it's a girl but I'm not to sure since I thought Dylan was going to be a girl. Either way this baby is a huge blessing and I'm just happy to know that I was able to have another baby when I never thought I would -having my endometrosis problems and them my adhesions issues with my uterus being attached to my abdominal wall.
This is a Blessing!

I have a beautiful 3 year old son in which I had a c-section. About a year later after the birth of my son I had to have a surgery for extreme pain from my lovely life long curse- endometrosis- YUK! During my surgery they found that my uterus was attached to my abdominal wall and left it in concern of a uterus rupture. After much consultation we decided to leave the uterus attached unless it gave me some trouble. So to my dissatisfaction about another year later I started to have pain and it was determined that it was from my adhesions on my uterus and we scheduled a surgery. So needless to say the same week I scheduled to meet my surgeon I found out I was pregnant- SURPRISE!!! :)

first public outing

so, i've been super precautious with taking the baby out in public places. but, on tuesday he will be a month old, so i know he's somewhat stronger by now. with that in mind, i took him to starbucks this morning with my mom. anna, my sister, works there. so, we took the little man to see his auntie. we stayed for only like 10 minutes, but it was nice to get out. i will admit it, i enjoyed leaving the house and going to see anna. but, i was a little paranoid the whole time. its silly, i know...but, hey...i'm a first time mommy. i'm doing the best i can. =)

oh my goodness! i got the cutest stuff ever for little boys. =) it's from babyrockapparel.com i'm obsessed with their t-shirts and little onesies. i have a red onesie that says, "i only date models". and two adorable t-shirts that look like something micah would wear. so, daddy and baby can have the same style. super cute! i LOVE this site. you should definitely check them out. their clothes are so cute and SUPER soft! =)
